Bearcats Football Encourages All Fans to be Involved in the Bowl Game|
Dec. 12, 2011
CINCINNATI - During this exciting time leading up to the bowl season, the University of Cincinnati department of athletics is encouraging all fans to consider ordering and donating at least one AutoZone Liberty Bowl ticket for $50 each even if they are not planning on attending the game on December 31st. This promotion will be exclusively offered online at CATSTIX.com.
Head coach Butch Jones and Director of Athletics Whit Babcock are reaching out to the Bearcat Family and asking that every fan contribute to the strong reputation of the UC fan base when it comes to Bowl ticket sales on the national landscape. Donated tickets from the ONE TEAM, ONE TICKET promotion will be provided to and utilized by the UC Bearcat Band, UC Sprit Squads, and UC Students who are going to be taking the student bus trip sponsored by UC Student Life.
"We want to continue to demonstrate that the University of Cincinnati Bearcats fans will support our Bowl ticket sales efforts anywhere, anytime. Bowl invitations are often extended based on a school's track record of ticket sales. In my short time here, I have already seen how passionate our fans are and I encourage each of them to help us tell our story to the entire country. While we want our fans to attend the Bowl game in person, some cannot and this is a way for the entire Bearcat Family to give back and support our efforts even if they cannot join us in Memphis, Tennessee" says Babcock.
To participate in the "ONE TEAM, ONE TICKET" promotion, fans should visit CATSTIX.com and select the ONE TEAM, ONE TICKET option.
