Football Adds Three To 2014 Roster

CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati football head coach Tommy Tuberville announced the addition of three student-athletes to the Bearcats 2014 roster.

The Bearcats added junior college QB Jarred Evans (Queens, N.Y./West Catholic/Santa Barbera CC), prep school cornerback Linden Stephens (Euclid, Ohio/Euclid/Fork Union Military) and high school QB Hayden Moore (Clay, Ala./Clay-Chalkville)

Evans signed a National Letter of Intent while Moore and Stephens signed grant-in-aid forms.

All three will enroll in classes at UC in January and participate in winter workouts and spring football.

Evans spent the past two seasons at Santa Barbara CC, finishing 218-of-413 for 2,701 yards passing and 25 TDs while also rushing for nine scores. He was a 2012 Second-Team All-Pacific Conference selection. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Moore, who was ranked as the No. 20 player in the state of Alabama by, was 89-of-140 for 1,507 yards and 22 total TDs as a senior, throwing 19 TD passes and rushing for three more.

Stephens spent the last year at Fork Union Military Academy after a successful prep career at Euclid HS in Cleveland. The speedster cornerback was honorable mention 2012 Associated Press Ohio Northeastern Lakes All-District selection as a senior.

Cincinnati (9-3, 6-2 American) will close out the 2013 season against North Carolina (6-6, 4-4 ACC) in the Belk Bowl on Dec. 28 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. The game will kick off at 3:20 p.m. ET, be televised by ESPN and broadcast on radio by 700 WLW AM.

Tickets are on sale now at, start at $50 and are available at four pricing levels: club seats ($100), lower sideline ($85), lower endzone ($75) and upper level ($50). All handling and shipping fees are included.

Seating assignments will be determined by UCATS tier level and then priority points within the tier level. All individuals who buy or donate tickets through UC will receive two (2) tickets to a future American Athletic Conference men's basketball game.
