Kastelic Leads Bearcats at Seminole Intercollegiate|

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The University of Cincinnati men's golf team finished 14th at the Seminole Intercollegiate on March 12-13 at the Southwood Golf Course.
Joe Kastelic (Newton, N.C./Fred T. Foard) shot 77-73-74=224 to finish in a tie for 33rd, leading the Bearcats scoring.
Zack Bates (Chagrin Falls, Ohio/Kenston) was tied for 59th, firing rounds of 83-75-75=233. Andrew Desmarais (Union, Ky./Ryle) was two shots back, finishing tied for 66th with a three-round total of 77-84-74=235.
Matt Ledom () rounded out the UC scoring with rounds of 82-81-76=239. He was tied for 69th.
Host Florida State (278-298-289=865) won the team title by one shot over second-place South Carolina (288-289-289=866).
Florida State's Seath Lauer (69-73-70=212) and South Carolina's Paul Woodbury (70-73-69=212) tied for the medalist honors. Woodbury won in a four-hole playoff.
The Bearcats will take a week off for finals and return to action on March 27-28 at the Ball State Invitational in Muncie, Ind.
