SOMERSET, N.J.---Junior Joe Young is tied for 29th to lead the University of Cincinnati men's golf team after the opening two rounds of play at the Rutgers Men's Golf Invitational. The two-day tournament got underway on Friday at the Rutgers University Golf Course.

Young shot rounds of 73 and 74 to help Cincinnati to ninth place in the team standings after 36 holes of play. UC sits just three shot back of eighth place Connecticut with a team score of 594. Columbia leads the team standings by three shots over St. John's.

Sophomore Luke Underhill also turned in a solid day, recovering from a first round 77 to match his career-best with a 72 in the final round. Underhill is tied for 35th, along with senior teammate Adam Fluty.

Play concludes today at the Rutgers Invitational.
