CABO SAN LUCAS, MEXICO - University of Cincinnati men's golf senior David Tepe (Liberty Township, Ohio/Lakota East) leads the Bearcats after 18 holes, carding a 4-over par 76 Sunday to tie for 24th place at the Cabo Intercollegiate at the 7,020-yard, par-72 Querencia Golf Club.

The University of Kentucky's Will Bishop ended Sunday in first, carding a 2-under par 70. Players from Loyola-Marymount, Abilene Christian and South Florida finished in a three-way tie for second earning even par 72.

The University of Mississippi (296), Kentucky (299), Florida State and USF (300) lead the way into the tournament's second round. The Bearcats sit in 12th place at 30-over par 318.

UC sophomore Jared Howard (Dublin, Ohio/Jerome) is currently tied for 41st after shooting a 7-over par 79. Tied for 47th, freshman Blake Hamilton (Union, Ky./Ryle) earned an 8-over par 80. Freshman Emerson Newsome (Hoschton, Ga./Mill Creek) and Senior Andrew Desmarais (Union, Ky./Ryle) are in 53rd place at 83.

Monday's second round action begins at noon ET. The final round on Tuesday starts at 11 a.m. ET. The tournament is the Bearcats' final event of the fall season.
