WINTER GARDEN, Fla.---The University of Cincinnati men's golf team is in 11th place through 36 holes at the BIG EAST/MAC Challenge, hosted by Marquette. After rounds of 74 and 75, Joe Young is leading the Bearcats through one day of play.

Young, a junior, sits tied for 27th with a two-round score of 149. The trio of John Clodfelder, Adam Fluty and Geoff Newman are all tied for 44th at 153. Clodfelder enjoyed the best round of the day for UC, shooting a 72 in the second round.

In the team standings, South Florida holds a three-shot lead over Marquette with a total of 573 (three-under par). The Bearcats are just one shot back of 10th place Connecticut and seven behind ninth-place DePaul.

Action concludes from the Orange National Golf Course today with the final 18 holes of action.
