    Jared Micklos enters his third season as an assistant with the University of Cincinnati men's soccer coaching staff in 2009. At Cincinnati, Micklos assists with team training and focuses on developing and training the goalkeepers.

    Off the field, Micklos is responsible for video analysis, team travel, adidas equipment, compliance, marketing initiatives and assisting with recruiting efforts. Micklos serves as the Camp Coordinator for the Cincinnati Soccer Academy at UC and various satellite camps in the local soccer community, in addition to serving as the head coach for the Ohio Elite Development Academy U-18 boy's team.

    Micklos, who spent three seasons with the University of Rochester, including two as recruiting coordinator, helped the Yellowjackets to a 39-9-7 record during his tenure, reached two NCAA tournaments and achieved a Top 10 national ranking in 2005. UR earned NSCAA Team Academic Awards in each of his seasons with the Yellowjackets and compiled the highest national team GPA across all divisions in 2004.

    The Palatine, Ill., native earned a B.S. in Business Management and International Studies from Indiana University in 2002. While at IU, Micklos served as head coach of the women's club soccer team at the university, leading the Hoosiers to the Midwest Conference title and a spot in the national finals in 2001. During his collegiate career, Micklos earned a roster spot as a place kicker on the varsity football team as a walk-on freshman.

    While at UR, Micklos coordinated the Rochester Elite Soccer Camp, with duties including marketing, registration, scheduling and curriculum development. He also served as head coach of the Rochester Jr. Rhinos U-16, leading the squad to an undefeated league season and the finals of the State Cup in 2005. He earned a master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Rochester in 2006.

    Micklos holds the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, the NSCAA Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma and the United States Soccer Federation 'B' License.
