Hill led the Bearcats to a 2-1 record in the inaugural Queen City Classic tournament last weekend. The sophomore led her team with 35 kills for a 3.50 kills per set average. She also recorded 22 digs and five blocks in three matches. Hill recorded her second-career double-double in the season-opening match against Duquesne on Friday, Aug. 29. She recorded 17 kills and tied a career-high with 10 digs to pace the Bearcats to victory.

Ashani Walker
Men's Soccer | Midfield

In the lone game last week for the Bearcats men's soccer team, Walker netted the only goal in a 1-1 draw at Northern Kentucky. With UC trailing 1-0 in the 57th minute, classmate Alan Rovira (Simi Valley, Calif./Simi Valley) drew a foul in the box and Walker converted the penalty kick to bring the match even at 1-1. That would be the final score as UC opened the season with a draw for the first time since 2003.
