CARSON, CA - Former Cincinnati men's soccer all-American Omar Cummings scored his second career goal and first game winner in the Colorado Rapids' 2-1 win at Chivas USA on Sunday evening (Oct. 14).  The goal helped Colorado's playoff hopes and beat Chivas for the first time this season at the Home Depot Center.

Cummings, who has played in 10 matches for the MLS club, tallied his first game winner in dramatic style in the 90th minute.

With the win, the Rapids edged closer to the eighth and final playoff spot. However, they will still need to win their final match -- at home against Real Salt Lake this coming Saturday, October 20th -- and hope that other results fall their way next weekend as well.
