Bearcats Travel to No. 5/3 Marquette for First-Round BIG EAST Matchup|

CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati men's soccer team, the No. 5 seed in the Red Division, will travel to No. 5/3 Marquette, the No. 4 seed in the Blue Division for a first-round BIG EAST Championship match on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 8 p.m. ET.
The Bearcats (6-8-4, 3-3-2 BIG EAST) are 10-14-3 all-time against the Golden Eagles (14-2-1, 5-2-1), including a 4-6-2 mark at Marquette.
Cincinnati qualified for the BIG EAST Tournament for the sixth time in eight seasons as a member of the powerful soccer league. The Bearcats and Golden Eagles have never met in BIG EAST postseason play.
UC is coming off a heartbreaking 1-0 loss against No. 14/18 Louisville in the regular-season finale on Saturday night in Gettler Stadium. The Cardinals scored the winner as the second-half clock expired.
Cincinnati is led by sophomore forward Cole DeNormandie, who scored three goals and added four assists to lead the squad with 10 points. Senior forward Leon Powell was tied for the team lead with three goals.
Sophomore goalkeeper Taylor Hafling posted a 0.99 goals against average and eight shutouts. He is first in the BIG EAST with 79 saves.
