The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the Inaugural Bearcats Basketball 101 set for Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010 in Fifth Third Arena. It will be a chance for the women of Cincinnati to increase their basketball knowledge, mingle with UC coaches and players, and enjoy a night out with their friends.
Featuring head men's basketball coach Mick Cronin and members of the women's basketball coaching staff, the clinic, presented by Lebanon Ford Lincoln, takes place on Oct. 6 from 6-9 p.m. in Fifth Third Arena. Trauth Dairy is also a participating sponsor.
"We are excited about hosting this event," said Cronin. "Cincinnati basketball is steeped in tradition and this is a night for participants to learn more about our program and the game of basketball in general."
Members of the both the men's and women's basketball programs will be on hand to lead sessions on shooting, dribbling, rebounding, and more. The evening will include happy hour, dinner, a gift bag, on- and off-court basketball instruction, a group photo with coaches, and more!
