Cincinnati, OH – The 2nd Annual UCATS Each One Reach One Referral Program kicked-off on April 24, 2010 and is off to a quick start in the campaign’s early stages. Just one month into the six-month program, current UCATS members have referred over 120 new members to join UCATS in support of Bearcat student-athletes.
The goal of Each One Reach One is to broaden the UCATS membership base and increase the level of private support for Bearcat student-athletes. The program empowers current UCATS members with the framework to recruit and refer prospects to UCATS and ultimately receive rewards for referrals. The personal challenge is for each UCATS member to refer one new member to join UCATS. UCATS established a new membership record in 2009, and continued growth is critical to position UC Athletics to compete at the highest level.
“We are very excited about the Each One Reach One program and the early results of this year’s campaign,” said UCATS Assistant Director and program oversight, Chris Pyles. “We have a growing number of dedicated ambassadors who are going above and beyond in their efforts to recruit new members, and we are seeing an increased number of individuals who are stepping up to answer the call and ‘reach one’ new UCATS member.”
Early 2010 results lie well ahead of the pace of the inaugural 2009 Each One Reach One Program, which netted 207 new memberships. The 2010 goal is 400 new memberships, a nearly 100% increase from the inaugural campaign.
“We put a lot of thought to goal-setting for the 2010 campaign, and we wanted to be sure to raise the bar and set a goal that we felt was both ambitious and attainable,” said Pyles. “It’s a testament to the support of the UCATS membership that just month into the program we are over 30% of the way to such an ambitious goal for 2010.”
Current UCATS members who participate in the program receive exclusive memorabilia rewards in addition to UCATS priority point bonuses.
A lead contributor to the Program’s fast start is the number of new football season ticket holders that have been referred by renewing ticket holders.
“It’s amazing to see the networks that our season ticket holders have established. These are people that they have been bringing to games over the years, or have recently introduced to Bearcats football,” said Greg Harrell, Director of Marketing & New Business Development. “It’s great to see these fans take advantage of the reward structure of Each One Reach One, while converting members of their network to investors in Bearcats Athletics. With each new member, they’re helping us get closer to our goal of selling out Nippert Stadium on a season basis.”
“There are so many ways to get involved,” adds UCATS Board Member and Each One Reach One ambassador John Courter. “The underlying principle is that we have to grow our base of support to put UC Athletics in the best possible competitive position on all fronts. Think about the number of individuals in our community who are passionate Bearcats fans, but are currently not investors in the program’s success. The profile of UCATS membership is varied, and everyone can find some level to get involved and to support the program philanthropically.”
