Cincinnati Returns Home to Host No. 24/24 Syracuse|

CINCINNATI -- The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team will face a nationally ranked team for the third time in four games when they play host to Syracuse in a BIG EAST contest Tuesday evening. Cincinnati returns home from a two-game road swing against Georgetown and Notre Dame for a 7 p.m. tip against the Orange.
SERIES HISTORY: Cincinnati leads the all-time series by a 5-4 edge, however, just one of those wins have come in Cincinnati where the Orange hold a 3-1 record. Similarly, UC holds a 3-1 record in Syracuse with one win also coming on a neutral court. The Bearcats earned a 55-54 win in the last meeting.
LAST TIME OUT: Cincinnati limited No. 2/3 Notre Dame to a 36.4 percent shooting effort during the second half of Saturday's BIG EAST contest, but couldn't overcome the Irish first-half lead, falling by a 64-42 final score.
Junior Kayla Cook led the Bearcats with a season-high 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting. The junior guard hit two shots from behind the arc. Alyesha Lovett dished out a career-high six assists in the contest while also tying a career-best total in steals (4).
