Women's Basketball Announces Additional Signee

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The University of Cincinnati women’s basketball program and Head Coach Jamelle Elliott announced the signing of Trinity Hunter (New Albany, Ohio/Gahanna Lincoln) to a National Letter of Intent for the 2014-15 season.

“Trinity is a very athletic post player who runs the floor extremely well, block shots and finishes around the rim.” noted Coach Elliott. “She is a welcomed addition to our already talented and well-rounded freshman class”

High School: Played for two years at Gahanna Christian before transferring to Gahanna Lincoln … led the Lions to a combined 39-13 record as a junior and senior … reached the district semifinals in 2013 and district finals in 2014 … nominated as a McDonald’s All-American as a senior … selected as a District 10 All-Star … named to the Mid-Ohio Christian All-League Honorable Mention team as a freshman … is one of five women’s basketball players from Gahanna Lincoln to sign an NCAA Division I NLI in the last two years … was also second-team all-conference in track … volunteered in high school at Ronald McDonald House and with March of Dimes.

Personal: Born July 2, 1996 … daughter of Keith and Claudette Hunter … has one sister … planned major is Psychology.
