CINCINNATI - The Skyline Chili Women's Crosstown Classic returns to Fifth Third Arena on Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. ET when the University of Cincinnati women's basketball team welcomes rival Xavier University in a battle for the Kendle Cup.
The Crosstown Classic has become one of the premiere events in the Cincinnati area celebrating women's sports. Fans are encouraged to come early, be loud and WEAR RED!
The gates at Fifth Third Arena will open at 12:30 p.m. The special promotions start with an autograph signing session in the north hallway of the arena that will feature female student-athletes (excluding women's basketball) from both Cincinnati and Xavier. Complimentary posters sponsored by Total Quality Logistics (TQL) and sharpies will be provided. The first 1,000 Bearcats fans will receive a Bearcats pom-pom shaker.
Through the end of the first half youth teams can enter a raffle for a chance to win a free set of uniforms. Sponsored by TQL, the prize has up to a $1,000 value. Raffle winners will be announced in the beginning of the second half.
Fans are encouraged to bring canned food items to support the local Freestore Food Bank sponsored by UC Fraternity and Sorority Life.
Numerous activities and in-game contests will allow fans to win prizes such as a UC bookstore gift card, passes to the Cincinnati Zoo, T-shirts and more.
Due to the high volume of traffic, fans are asked to please arrive early. Cash parking is $5 per car and is available off Martin Luther King Dr. in Campus Green Garage & Woodside Garage; off of Jefferson Ave. at University Garage; off Corry Blvd. in Corry, Calhoun, and Varsity Village garages; and off of Clifton Ave. in Clifton Court Garage. Handicapped parking is available in University Garage.
Both the east and west concourses of Fifth Third Arena will be open. Will Call is located at the east Concourse of Fifth Third Arena and will open at 12:30 p.m.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for youth/seniors, and UC and XU students are FREE with their school IDS. Groups prices are $3 (15-500), $2 (501-1,000) and $1 (1,001+).

SERIES HISTORY: Sunday’s contest marks the 35th meeting between the crosstown rivals. Cincinnati holds the overall edge 22-12 but the Musketeers have won the last three contests. UC's last win came in 2008, topping the Musketeers 65-55 at home.
LAST TIME OUT: The Bearcats held Morehead State scoreless during the final 6:28 of the contest to earn a 55-45 win over the Eagles. It marked the third time this season UC's defense has limited an opponent to under 50 points, all wins. The Bearcats continued to keep their turnover numbers low, committing just eight against the Eagles. It marked the fewest in a game since coughing it up just six times against Chattanooga Nov. 25, 2011. Dayeesha Hollins and Lesha Dunn each reached double-digits in scoring with 18 and 14 points respectively. It was the fifth-straight time for Hollins while Dunn accomplished the feat for the third straight game. Alyesha Lovett set a new career-best mark in rebounding with 10. The sophomore had seven in the first half.
SCOUTING THE MUSKETEERS: Xavier is coming off a six-game homestand entering Sunday's contest. The Musketeers went 3-3 during the stretch, most recently suffereing a 77-73 overtime loss to Appalachian State Friday evening. Shatyra Hawkes leads the team in scoring this season averaging 12.5 points. She is one of three Musketeers who average double digits. Amber Gray (12.2) and Ashley Wanninger (10.0) complete the trio. Lakeisha Crouch and Jessica Panchko are the top rebounders for Xavier averaging 7.0 and 6.2 respectively.
