Bearcats Wrap up First Day of Web.com Intercollegiate|

PONTE VERDA BEACH, Fla. - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team completed the first two rounds of the Web.com Intercollegiate Monday at the Marsh Landing County Club. The event is jointly hosted by Jacksonville University and North Florida University.
The Bearcats posted a strong first round at the event with a team score of 301 before stumbling during the last 18 holes with a 313 to place tied for 18th at the event after 36 holes.
Florida State leads the team event by seven strokes with rounds of 288-280=568. East Carolina is second (289-286=575) ahead of Chattanooga (282-295=577) in third. Cincinnati (301-313=614) is tied with James Madison (312-302=614) for 18th place.
Olivia Dose (Goteborg, Sweden/Goteborg Hogre Samskola) leads the Cincinnati squad, sitting in 24th place after scores Monday of 70-75=145. Andrea Malek (Tibro, Sweden/Klippans Gymnasieskola) is 65th after shooting 74-79=153 while Stefanie Mitchell (Sarasota, Fla./Riverview) is 81st with a 36-hole score of 76-80=156.
Mackenzie Moir (Louisville, Ky./Sacred Heart Academy) turned in scores of 80-80=161 and places tied for 94th while Ashley Cassidy (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) carded a score of 83-79=162 and sits in 97th place to round out UC's scoring team.
The Bearcats will look to jump up the leaderboard during Tuesday's final round. Action will start with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun.
