Bearcats Seventh After 18 Holes at BIG EAST Championship|

REUNION, Fla. - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team sits in seventh place, just one shot out of fifth, after the first round of the 2012 BIG EAST Championship at The Watson Course at Reunion Resort & Club on Sunday.
The Bearcats posted a first-round 315 to sit one shot behind Seton Hall and St. John's, who are tied for fifth after rounds of 314. Notre Dame leads the team competition with a first-round 296, two shots ahead of USF, which posted 296 through 18 holes.
Notre Dame's Ashley Armstrong and USF's Kelli Pry are tied for the tournament lead after posting rounds of 73 through the first 18 holes.
The Bearcats will tee off at 8 a.m. on Monday morning, playing with eighth-place Georgetown. The tournament concludes with the third round on Tuesday.
