Bearcats 10th Following 36 Holes at Price's Give 'Em Five Intercollegiate|

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The University of Cincinnati women's golf team is 10th after the second round at the Price's Give 'Em Five Intercollegiate, completed on Tuesday at the New Mexico State Golf Course.
The Bearcats have posted identical rounds of 303 over the first two rounds for a 606 total, three shots back of host New Mexico State (299-304=603), who sits in ninth place after 36 holes.
Alex Carl leads the way for the Bearcats, posting rounds of 75-75=150, good for tie for 25th. Mackenzie Moir is one shot back of Carl after rounds of 76-75=151, which puts her in a tie for 30th. Olivia Dose (78-75=153) and Maria Roos (75-78=153) are tied for 37th, while Andrea Malek (77-79=156) is tied for 55th.
Kansas (294-289=583) leads the team competition by three strokes over second-place Colorado State (297-289=586). The Jayhawks' Yupaporn Kawinpakorn carded rounds of 69-71=140 for a four-under total and a two-shot lead over Emily Roering of Colorado State, who posted 71-71=142.

The Bearcats will tee off in the third and final round tomorrow from the New Mexico State Golf Course at 10:30 p.m. ET. Nestled between the majestic Organ Mountains and the Mesilla Valley, the 18-hole NM State Golf Course plays at par72, 6,319 yards. The layout includes tifgreen 328 fairways, bent-grass greens and roughs containing plant life common to the desert Southwest including creosote, mesquite, yucca and cactus. The course consists of four par-3 holes, 10 par-4 holes and four par-5 holes.
