Bearcats Eighth After Round One at Pat Bradley Invitational|

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Andrea Malek is tied for 10th and the University of Cincinnati women's golf team is in eighth place after the first round at the 34th annual FIU/Pat Bradley Invitational.
Malek, who leads the Bearcats in scoring average this fall, fired a 75 over her first 18 holes to sit in a 10th-place tie.
The Bearcats, who posted a first-round 313, are two shots behind Florida Gulf Coast and Bradley (311), each tied for sixth. Boston College leads the team tournament with a first-half 300.
Fabienne Haremza of Florida Gulf Coast and Eastern Michigan's Meredith Fairbairn each posted 72 through the first 18 to lead the individual competition.
The event continues on Monday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
