Women's Golf Heads to Clover Cup|

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women’s golf team will head to Mesa, Arizona this weekend to compete in the Clover Cup hosted by the University of Notre Dame at the Longbow Golf Club. The event will begin Friday, March 14 and run through Sunday.
The tournament format is a three-day, 54-hole event with 18 holes to be played each day. The par-72 course measures 6,209 yards.
Six Bearcats will be competing for UC in Andrea Malek (Tibro, Sweden/Klippans Gymnasieskola), Olivia Dose (Goteborg, Sweden/Goteborg Hogre Samskola), Stefanie Mitchell (Sarasota, Fla./Riverview), Ashley Cassidy (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks), Tara Liebert (Mason, Ohio/Mason) and Valentina Herrera (Bogotá, Colombia).
Participating in the event will be FIU, Nebraska, Maryland, Colorado, East Carolina (No. 46), Mississippi, Louisville (No. 36), UNLV (No. 48), Kennesaw St., Michigan, Tulsa, Cincinnati, New Mexico St., and St. John's.
Cincinnati finished tied for 13th out of 16 schools at last season’s event. Dose was the top finisher for UC, placing tied for ninth with a three-day score of 217. She recorded her best round of the weekend on the final day with a two-under-par 70.
The Bearcats are coming off an 11th-place finish at the Amelia Island Intercollegiate last month. Dose finished seventh out of the field of 77 at the event with a three-round total of 219.
