CINCINNATI – Olivia Dose (Goteborg, Sweden/Goteborg Hogre Samskola) was named the BIG EAST Co-Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on March 14.
The junior recorded a career-low 217 strokes (74-73-70) over three rounds of the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz., March 8-10 to tie for ninth place. She tied with Notre Dame’s Lindsey Weaver, the second Co-Player of the Week.
Dose finished ahead of five top-100 nationally ranked players, including No. 27 Anne-Catherine Tangu, while tying with Weaver who is ranked No. 3 nationally. She finished one over par on the 72-par course for her lowest finish since tying for third at the FIU Pat Bradley Invitational in October.
She led the Bearcats to a 13th place finish, while beating Georgetown and Illinois. Cincinnati recorded the second-largest improvement between rounds one and two, improving by 12 strokes after the first round.
Dose and the Bearcats will be back in action when they host the UC Spring Invitational in Crystal River, Fla., March 22-24.
