Individuals Set to Compete at WKU Lady Topper Classic

CINCINNATI – Five individuals from the University of Cincinnati women’s golf team are set to compete this week at the Western Kentucky University Lady Topper Classic. The tournament will run Monday, March 31 and Tuesday, April 1 at the Bowling Green Country Club.

Although not competing as a team at the event, Cincinnati will send five individual to the event. Mackenzie Moir (Louisville, Ky./Sacred Heart Academy), Valentina Herrera (Bogota, Colombia), Sofia Langenius (Hovas, Sweeden), Tara Liebert (Mason, Ohio/Mason) and Stephanie Horvath (Medina, Ohi/Highland) will all be representing the Bearcats.

Other teams in the field include Western Kentucky, Austin Peay, Dayton, Eastern Illinois, Northern Kentucky, Siena and Tennessee State.

The tournament format will consist of 54 holes with 36 scheduled for Monday and 18 for Tuesday. Both days will be a shotgun start. The Bowling Green Country Club will measure 6,027 yards and play at par of 72.
