CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women’s lacrosse coaching staff has announced the formation of two lacrosse clinics to be held on January 25 at the University of Cincinnati campus. The two clinics – one for coaches and one for players – will focus on interactive teaching for the coaches and strengthening techniques for the players.
The 2009 Cincinnati Coaches Clinic will be held on January 25 from noon until 4 p.m. and will take place in the Richard E. Lindner Center and Nippert Stadium. Coaches will be able to learn through interactive teaching sessions by rotating around various teaching stations. The cost of the camp is $50 and includes an information packet with drills.
The First Annual Lacrosse Winter Warm up will be held at the same time as the coach’s clinic and is open to girls ages 13-18. The camp will emphasize the latest techniques in shooting, stick work, crease defending and transition along with individual goalkeeping instruction. Cost for the camp will be $60 per participant and space is limited.
