LENDING A HELPING HAND DURING SPRING BREAK
The UC lacrosse team took an untraditional route of spending their spring break, as they dedicated more than 100 hours volunteering throughout the week. The Bearcats spent time at Our Daily Bread, an Over-the-Rhine ministry, where they handed out snacks and entertained children. They also sorted and packaged donated good at Matthew 25: Ministries and delivered blankets at St. Vincent de Paul. During the remainder of their free time, the UC lacrosse team baked cakes for Our Daily Bread, who provides the birthday treat to any guest that comes to ODB with an ID stating that their birthday is near.
