June 13, 2014

CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's lacrosse staff is set to host its first summer camp, the GO ELITE Lacrosse Camp, June 23-25 on the UC campus. Led by UC head coach Gina Oliver, a two-time Lacrosse World Cup goal medalist and first-team All-American, it promises to become one of the premier lacrosse camps in the Midwest.

"I'm excited to jump start my first-ever Gina Oliver Elite Lacrosse Camp," said Oliver. "It's more exciting that I get a chance to start it here on the UC campus. Growing the game in the Midwest and in Cincinnati has been a huge goal of mine."

Registration remains open, with the camp starting on Monday, June 23. It runs through Wednesday, June 25, and is open to any girl in from 6th grade through 12th (including 2015 graduates). It includes three days of instructional drills and scrimmages led by Division I coaches and players, with the goal of teaching young athletes the fundamentals and skills to improve their game in a fun environment.
