Sept. 15, 2011
CINCINNATI -- University of Cincinnati women’s lacrosse head coach Lellie Swords has been named vice president of the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Board of Directors.
“I have really enjoyed my time on the board working with the coaches who have served and continuing to help grow the game,” Swords said. “It has been great to be able to give back to the game that has given so much to me.”
Swords, who has been on the board since 2008 and previously held the title of secretary, will continue to serve the IWLCA and be a part of the Board of Directors in a more predominant role.
The IWLCA is a membership-led nonprofit association representing the nation’s intercollegiate women’s lacrosse coaches within Division I, II & III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
