VILLANOVA, PA - The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team closed out its 2007 season with a 1-0 loss at Villanova.  The Bearcats (6-10-2, 3-7-1) missed out on a BIG EAST Tournament berth by four points, finishing seventh in the National Division.

The Wildcats (10-3-6, 4-3-4) got a goal from Stacia Hartung in the 31st minute of play to send them to their 10th win of the season.

Villanova outshot UC, 17-8, in the match and took seven corners to UC's zero.

Goalkeeper Andrea Kaminski (Noblesville, IN/Noblesville) made five saves and finished the season with 110 saves, which led the BIG EAST.

Erin MacDonald (St. Catharine's, Ontario/West Park Secondary) led the Bearcats with seven goals, seven assists and 21 points.
