University of Cincinnati head women's soccer coach Neil Stafford and staff have announced dates for two winter soccer clinics. The first session is slated for Feb. 23 with the second being on March 9.
Both sessions are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on campus of the University of Cincinnati. The camp is open to girls in grades 8-12. All campers are asked to provide their own soccer ball.
The clinics are designed for premier soccer players entering their freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year in high school, who are looking to get an intense preview of soccer at the next level. All players at these clinics must be mentally and physically ready for the mindset of a college-like environment. If you want to play college soccer and think you have what it takes, these clinics are for you.
The clinics will give you a taste of what college soccer is all about on one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. You will train using many of the same methods and facilities that the Cincinnati teams use, interact daily with the current players, and have the complete student-athlete experience. Players will train by position and as teams. Goalkeepers will receive specialized training and all campers will have the opportunity to play in a full game setting.
