The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team has announced its 2014 signing class with the addition of 14 new student-athletes, including one transfer, to the Bearcats' roster.

Head coach Neil Stafford and his staff have attracted some of the most talented players in the Tri-State Area while also branching out and nabbing players outside of the region. Seven players hail from the state of Ohio, while the staff garnered a pair of players from both Indiana and Illinois. They also snatched one player from Alaska, Canada and Michigan.

Allison Abbe
M/F | Plainfield, Ind. | Plainfield | Zionsville SC
Allison Abbe comes to UC after garnering a long list of individual accolades during her career at Plainfield: four-time All-Mid-State Conference, four-time All-District, three-time All-State and two-time Academic All-State. She compiled 76 goals and 58 assists for the Quakers and led the conference in scoring her final three seasons. In 2010 and 2013, she aided Plainfield in winning the Mid-State Conference Championship and reaching the Sectional Finals. Abbe played club soccer with Zionsville SC and reached the Indiana State Cup Finals four times with one cup championship coming in 2012.

Jaycie Brown
M | Wellington, Ohio | Magnificat | Cleveland United SC
Jaycie Brown joins the Bearcats after being a four-time letterwinner and two-time captain at Magnificat. She was named All-District, All-Greater Cleveland and All-State in 2013 for leading her school to the state semifinals. The midfielder played club with Cleveland United and is a four-time Ohio State Cup Champion.


Jaeden Chew
GK | Wasilla, Alaska | Skyline | Matanuska SC/Crossfire Premier SC
Jaeden Chew is an Alaskan native but moved to Sammamish, Wash. Prior to her junior season to play at Skyline High School. In two season at Skyline, the goalkeeper led the team to back-to-back conference championships and a state title in 2012. She garnered 30 shutouts and posted a 0.35 goals against average during her 72 game career.

Natalie Coury
F | Westlake, Ohio | Magnificat | Cleveland United SC
Natalie Coury is a two-time All-Division player from Magnificat High School. She led the Bluestreaks in scoring with 15 goals and 13 assists and helped guide her squad to a district championship, regional championship and the state semifinals in 2013. Her club career has been spent with Cleveland United, who has won the last four Ohio State Cup Championships.

Lizzie Ehrnfelt
D | Strongsville, Ohio | Strongsville | Cleveland United SC
Lizzie Ehrnfelt is a multi-sport athlete who lettered all four years in both soccer and track & field. On the pitch, she is a two-time All-Northeast Ohio player and earned All-Greater Cleveland honors in 2013. During her career, she aided Strongsville in qualifying for state four years in a row and winning the tournament in 2011. Ehrnfelt played club soccer with Cleveland United and helped them win four Ohio State Cup Championships.

Tayler Fitts
F | Fishers, Ind. | Brebeuf Jesuit Prep | Zionsville SC
Tayler Fitts is a forward from Brebeuf Jesuit Prep in Indianapolis, Ind. During her career, she led the Braves to two Country Championships and one Regional Championship. She was named All-District and All-State her senior season. Fitts also excelled in the classroom with being a two-time Academic All-Conference honoree and 2013 Academic All-State recipient. She played club soccer with Zionsville SC and reached the Indiana State Cup Finals four times with one cup championship coming in 2012.

Julie Gavorski
F | Madison, Ohio | Madison | Cleveland Soccer Academy
Julie Gavorski is a three-time All-Conference and three-time All-Greater Cleveland honoree from Madison High School. She aided the Blue Streak in garnering Premier Athlete Conference Championships the last two seasons. The forward also started on the basketball team and was a state qualifier in track & field.

Vanessa Gilles
D | Ottawa, Canada | Louis Riel | FC Capital United
Vanessa Gilles come to UC after playing in Canada for Team Ontario and FC Capital United. During her time with FC Capital United, she served as the team captain and helped the squad win its league and finish second in the province. Team Ontario selected Gilles to their roster, and she suited up for the 2013 Canada Games.

Anna Haverchak
M/F | Akron, Ohio | Copley | Cleveland United SC
Anna Haverchak comes to UC with a long list of accolades, which includes: three-time All-Suburban League, two-time All-State, two-time NSCAA All-Region and 2013 NSCAA All-American. She helped guide Copley to a pair of Suburban League Championships in 2011 and 2013. During her career, the midfielder/forward compiled 34 goals and 30 assists.  Haverchak played club soccer with Cleveland United and helped them win four Ohio State Cup Championships.

Taylor Jackson
F | Cincinnati, Ohio | Indian Hill | Miami University
Taylor Jackson is a Cincinnati native that is transferring in from Miami (Ohio). In high school, she was a two-time state qualifier and captain at Indian Hill. In her one year with the Redhawks, the midfielder played in 20 matches and compiled two goals and five assists.

Emily Lange
D | Western Springs, Ill. | Lyons Township | FCX SC
Emily Lange is a midfielder that hails from Western Springs, Illinois. During the 2013 season, she was named All-Western Suburban Silver Conference, All-Sectional and All-Area. While at Lyons Township, she has compiled 27 goals and 15 assists, and the program has reached the sectional final twice and won one conference championship. She will closeout her high school campaign this spring since Illinois plays soccer in the spring.

Kelsey Parrinello
F | Westland, Mich. | Livonia Churchill | Vardar ECNL
Kelsey Parrinello is a two-time all-conference player from Livonia Churchill High School in Michigan. She was also named All-District and All-Region following the 2012 season. Over her career, the midfielder/forward has compiled 27 goals and 13 assists. She played club soccer with Vardar, who won the Michigan State Cup in 2011 and was the runner-up in 2010.

Melissa Vajskop
F | Parma, Ohio | Hathaway Brown | Ohio Premier Red SC
Melissa Vajskop comes to UC after being one of the most decorated soccer players to come out of Hathaway Brown. During her career, she was a four-time All-Greater Cleveland honoree, two-time All-State recipient and tagged a Midwest All-American in 2013. Her career totals of 75 goals and 33 assists have aided the Blazers in winning four district championships, two regional titles and qualifying for state twice.

Elle Zadina
D | Glencoe, Ill. | Loyola Academy | FC United
Elle Zadina is a four-time letterwinner from Loyola Academy in Illinois. During her career with the Ramblers, she has aided them in garnering three conference titles, three district crowns, two sectional championships and two state tournament berths. She is a co-captain for Loyola Academy and was tagged all-conference following the 2012 season.
