CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati women’s soccer head coach Neil Stafford announced the date for this summer’s Elite Camp. The two day ID Camp is scheduled for August 2-3 and will be held at Gettler Stadium on the campus on the University of Cincinnati.
“We are excited for the opportunity to host this camp at UC” said Cincinnati assistant coach Gary Curneen. “We know the camp will bring a lot of talented players to campus and we are looking forward to the opportunity to work with them all and help them develop their soccer skills.”
The camp is open to any and all current high school aged players (rising high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors) looking to play collegiately or to continue their development as a player. The Elite Camp will expose players to the standards and style of college coaching, as well as expectations of players at UC.
Players will be instructed by the Bearcats’ coaching staff, which includes Head Coach Neil Stafford and assistant coaches Nate Lie and Curneen. Participants will work becoming better technical, tactical, physical and mental players. Players will train by position and as teams while goalkeepers will also receive specialized training. All campers will have the opportunity to play in a full game setting.
Interested players can register online at www.thebestsoccercamps.com.
The camp is intended for players with a high level of interest in playing at the NCAA Division I level and the University of Cincinnati.
