CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team will play two matches this weekend. The Bearcats face off against Abilene Christian University on Friday, January 31 at 6 p.m. at the Western Tennis & Fitness Club before heading to Hamilton to play Miami (Oh) University at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January, 2 at the Riverside Athletic Club.

The Wildcats will be opening their season against Wright State University on Friday at 11 a.m. before traveling to Cincinnati to battle the Bearcats.
The RedHawks are 1-0 on the season after downing Xavier 4-3 in a marathon battle that lasted five hours and 45-minutes. Miami fell in doubles action, but was able to get four points in the singles action to seal the win.
Cincinnati will be looking to bounce back from a 6-1 loss to the RedHawks last year. Senior Caitlin O'Gara (Springboro, Ohio/Bishop Fenwick) picked up the lone Bearcat point in the match winning 6-4, 2-6 (10-6).
