CINCINNATI - On Saturday, May 19, the University of Cincinnati women’s tennis team participated in the Buddy Up Tennis, Fitness and Fun Program held at The Club at Harper's Point.

The Buddy Up program is a high energy, 90-minute program which focuses on adaptive tennis, fitness and fun for children and adults with Down Syndrome. The program began in Columbus, Ohio in the spring of 2009 and has now expanded into the Pittsburgh and Cincinnati areas.

"Our team had a fantastic afternoon as buddies to the athletes of the Buddy Up Tennis, Fitness and Fun Program," said head coach Angela Wilson. "The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati does an awesome job with this program. This was our first time helping out and we all loved it! Lots of smiles and hitting tennis balls by all! We hope we can help out more next year."
