Nicole Miller joined the University of Cincinnati volleyball staff in March, 2012.

Miller joined head coach Molly Alvey at Cincinnati for the 2012 season, where she helped guide the Bearcats to a 12-20 record. Cincinnati finished fifth in the league and advanced to the semifinal round of the BIG EAST Championship.

Before coming to Cincinnati, Miller worked under Alvey for two seasons as an assistant coach at Houston. Miller also worked on staff with Alvey as a graduate assistant at Ole Miss. During her first season as an assistant coach, Miller helped tutor the Cougar volleyball team that finished third in the Conference USA standings with a 13-7 record. In addition the C-USA wins were the most since 1999.

Prior to Houston, Miller served as a graduate assistant at Ole Miss. While working on the Rebels' staff together, Alvey and Miller guided the team to a 25-34 record, including an upset of No. 19 Kentucky in 2008. She was also a member of the 2009 coaching staff which secured the nation's 23rd-ranked recruiting class. At Ole Miss, Miller assisted with practice planning, implementation of opponent scouting, and daily evaluation and analysis of practice and competition statistics. She also organized and coached the Ole Miss Youth League geared towards getting local elementary youth interested in volleyball and summer training camps at Ole Miss.

Before joining Ole Miss, Miller served as head coach for the A5 Mizuno Volleyball Club in Atlanta for two years. While there, she was involved with preparing her players for collegiate careers and was heavily active in their recruiting process.

Miller helped mentor All-SEC Second-Team selection Rachel Kieckhaefer and Freshman All-SEC recipient Regina Thomas, both recognized by their league for their superior play.

Establishing a close relationship with the players and developing strong communication levels amongst her team are high on Miller's priority list. She strongly believes in team building skills as well as improving fundamentals through training.

Miller, a former student-athlete at the University of South Carolina, brings a great amount of experience with her. During her collegiate career, she led her teammates as the captain of the volleyball squad from her sophomore through senior years. She was also heavily involved in the SEC Good Works Team for two years.

Miller received a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of South Carolina.
