Nicholson, Ogletree to Represent Bearcats at US National Team Tryouts|

CINCINNATI - Two University of Cincinnati volleyball student athletes have been chosen to participate in the 2014 U.S. Women's National Team open tryouts. Junior Me'Ashah Nicholson (Shiloh, Ill./Belleville Althoff) and redshirt sophomore Caitlin Ogletree (Montgomery, Texas/Houston) will both be spending three days at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., from Feb. 21-23.
Nicholson and Ogletree will be competing for a spot on the U.S. Women's National Team and/or the U.S. Collegiate National Teams program. The field is very competitive with a record number 248 athletes from 106 colleges and universities participating.
Three-time Olympic gold medalist and U.S. Olympic Hall of Famer Karch Kiraly and the U.S. Women's National Team staff will lead the tryout process.
Athletes selected to the national teams will be notified by early March. USA Volleyball will announce the selections by the end of March once all the rosters spots are accepted and confirmed.
