April 12, 2013
CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati volleyball team, under the direction of Head Coach Molly Alvey, concludes its spring season Saturday with a match against Butler University and a free youth clinic following the competition.
The match, scheduled for an 11 a.m. start, will take place in the practice gym located on the first floor of the Richard E. Lindner Center in Varsity Village.
The free youth clinic, for players up to the eighth grade, will take place in the practice gym immediately following the match between the Bearcats and Bulldogs.
UC players and coaches will be leading the clinic to teach valuable high-level skills necessary to excel and improve in the game. All participants should come in gym shoes.
Ushers will be stationed by the Oscar Robertson statue outside of the Lindner Center to direct fans down the staircases to the practice gym on the first floor.
The match against Butler will be the last of the spring season for Cincinnati. The match will be the last competitive volleyball for the team until it reports for training camp in August.
