DuPont Named C-USA Player of the Week
Sophomore Leading Bearcats in Kills This Season

CINCINNATI, Ohio---University of Cincinnati sophomore Julie DuPont was named Conference USA Volleyball co-Player of the Week on Monday. DuPont earned the honor after leading the Bearcats to key C-USA wins over Memphis and Saint Louis over the weekend.
The Muskego, Wis. native averaged 6.29 kills, three digs and 1.43 blocks per game as the Bearcats ran their winning streak to 10 straight. DuPont nearly scored the fourth triple-double in program history with a 24 kill, 13 dig, eight block performance against Memphis.
DuPont shared the award with Houston senior Jenny Tanneberger. Tanneberger posted two double-double performances in wins over DePaul and Marquette. She averaged six kills and 3.13 digs per game, while racking up a .372 attack percentage.
The honor marks the second time in her career that DuPont has been named conference player of the week.
The Bearcats are 17-6 overall and 7-1 in C-USA, tied for second in the conference standings with Louisville. They return to action with C-USA road matches this weekend at TCU (Nov. 8) and Houston (Nov. 10).
