Volleyball Conference Championships

 

2011 BIG EAST Tournament Champions

·         12-2 BIG EAST Conference Record.

·          Defeated Notre Dame, 3-0, in BIG EAST Tournament final, earning first BIG EAST tournament title in school history.

·         Senior Missy Harpenau and junior Jordanne Scott earned first-team all-BIG EAST honors and AVCA All-America honorable mention.
12-2 BIG EAST Conference Record.





2010 BIG EAST Regular-Season Champions

·         13-1 BIG EAST Conference Record.

·          Posted a 10-match winning streak and an 11-match winning streak during the season and won the BIG EAST regular season championship outright.

·         Outside hitter Stephanie Niemer was named to the AVCA All-America Second Team, while setter Annie Fesl and Jordanne Scott earn AVCA Honorable Mentions. The Trio all earned All-BIG EAST First Team accolades. Head coach Reed Sunahara was named the BIG EAST Coach of the Year while Niemer was unanimously named BIG EAST Player of the Year.

 

 

2008 BIG EAST Regular-Season Co-Champions

·         12-2 BIG EAST Conference Record.

·         UC won 12 consecutive conference matches to earn a share of the program's first BIG EAST regular-season title.

·         Jessie Nevitt and Stephanie Niemer earn first-team all-BIG EAST distinction.

 

 

 

2003 C-USA Regular-Season Co-Champions

·         12-1 C-USA Conference Record.

·         Posted an 11-match winning streak and a 12-match winning streak during the season.

·         Julie DuPont named C-USA Player of the Year, Laura Lauder named C-USA Setter of the Year, and Myanna Hellsten named C-USA Freshman of the Year.

 

 

 

2001 C-USA Regular-Season Champions

·         14-2 C-USA Conference Record.

·         UC wins 16 consecutive matches, the longest winning streak in program history.

·         Trish Ladusaw earns C-USA Defensive Player of the Year and Becky Stahl named C-USA Freshman of the Year.

 

 

 

2000 C-USA Division Champions

·         14-2 C-USA Conference Record.

·         In his first season as head coach, Reed Sunahara leads UC to a 14-2 conference record and a Division Championship.

·         Trish Ladusaw earns C-USA Defensive Player of the Year and Laura Lauder named C-USA Co-Freshman of the Year.

 

 

 

1999 C-USA Division Champions and Tournament Champions

·         13-3 C-USA Conference Record.

·         Laura Alford leads Cincinnati to first Conference-USA Division Championship with a 13-3 record and eventually led UC to first NCAA Tournament since 1981.

·         Annie Gant named C-USA Setter of the Year, Katie Graham named C-USA Defensive Specialist of the Year, Bonita Wise named C-USA Co-Freshman of the Year, and Stephanie Meinig named C-USA Tournament MVP.

 

 

 

1981 Metro Conference Tournament Champions

·         Janise Jordan named Metro Tournament MVP

·         Zen Golembiowsky leads UC to first NCAA Tournament and first conference championship.
