Student Loyalty Program:

The University of Cincinnati has the best students in the country – and we need you to show your support all season long. Our students impact the outcome of games, recruiting, and the experience for all students. #HottestCollegeInAmerica

This season, the Bearcats Basketball Student Loyalty Program determines the best students in Bearcats Nation. The program is simple – for every home game a student attends, they will receive points (two points for a non-conference or exhibition game and one point for a BIG EAST Conference game) that will qualify them for exciting benefits. In order to track your progress, a student leader board will be updated each Monday throughout the season that displays our most dedicated students.

The Bearcats Basketball Student Loyalty Program will be divided into two phases. When the Bearcats travel downtown to play the Xavier Musketeers in the Skyline Chili Crosstown Classic on December 19th, only 578 complimentary student tickets will be available for the game. The rules of the game are simple – the Department of Athletics will track your progress at games and the top 275 students in the Loyalty Program ranking will have the ability to secure up to two student tickets for the Skyline Chili Crosstown Classic (fourteen pairs of tickets will be distributed at the first seven men's basketball games and the Women's Skyline Chili Crosstown Classic). The first phase concludes with the Bearcats battle against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, December 1st and all students who have secured the opportunity to join the Bearcats at U.S. Bank Arena will be notified by email on Sunday, December 2nd. How many points can you receive in phase one? Easy – 14 points (seven non-conference games).

The second phase begins immediately following the game against Alabama. Students will continue to earn points and the leaders will be selected to participate in halftime contests, on-court recognitions, and have the first exclusive opportunity to access tickets to the BIG EAST Tournament held at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY as well as the NCAA Tournament.

One important thing to note – to earn the points for the game, you must show up in the arena – not just secure a ticket. We have faith in you, Bearcats Nation!

BEARCATS BASKETBALL STUDENT SECTION – GENERAL ADMISSION

The students have asked – and we have found an answer! NEW to Fifth Third Arena this season, the Bearcats Basketball student sections will be GENERAL ADMISSION SEATING. What does this mean for our student body? We hope this change makes it easier for you to come and support YOUR team with your friends, dorm, class, and fellow students.

The student section will be divided up into two sides – the “Black C” and the “Red C”. The Black C will be on the north side of the arena (the side closest to the Bearcats bench) and the Red C will be on the south side of the arena (the side closest to the visiting team’s bench). Once you enter the game with your friends, you will just have to choose a side of the arena, get a wristband from one of the ushers at the top of the section that designates your side of the court, and then choose your seats for the game. Sound simple enough? It is. We are also asking our students to wear black or red depending on what side of the arena they plan to sit in (unless we tell you otherwise i.e. White Out, Black Out, Ring of Red).

We hope this solution works for the student body and is another example of our efforts to make your experience the best student experience in the country.
