Basketball Game Day

Fifth Third Arena on the campus of the University of Cincinnati features excellent seating and some of the best college basketball in the nation. Since its opening in 1989, nearly four million fans have come through the Fifth Third Arena doors in anticipation of a Bearcats victory.

Both UC basketball programs also boast new offices, film rooms, training rooms, locker rooms, spa/sauna rooms and a full-sized weight room in the Richard E. Lindner Athletics Center.

Fifth Third Arena has also been the host for some notable events including a rally along President Obama's campaign trail in 2008, countless UC commencement ceremonies, and a nationally ranked #1 men's basketball team.

ACCESSIBILITY
The UC Athletics Department, its staff and gameday personnel are committed to providing complete accessibility to all facilities, fair and equal treatment of all patrons and guests, and meaningful compliance within the letter and spirit of the law.

ATM LOCATIONS
Fifth Third Arena has automated teller machines (ATMs) located in the east and west concourses.

BABY CHANGING STATIONS
All public restrooms on the upper concourse and lower concourse are equipped with baby changing stations.

BOX OFFICE INFORMATION/TICKET SALES
• Box office locations open two hours prior to tip-off at the West windows of the Richard E. Lindner Center, located directly beside Fifth Third Arena.
• Children three (3) and under are not required to have a ticket for entrance into Fifth Third Arena for UC Athletics events.

CAMERA/VIDEO POLICY
Point and shoot cameras are permitted inside the arena, but no flash photography is allowed. Professional cameras with lenses greater than 3" are prohibited. Video cameras are prohibited.

THE UCATS CLUB
The UCATS Club is located on the fifth floor of the north side of Fifth Third Arena. Private functions held by the UCATS will be held at varying points throughout the season and is open to all UCATS members before men's basketball games. Entry will begin when the doors open to the general public.

ELEVATOR
The elevator is located in the north concourse of Fifth Third Arena. For men's and women's basketball games, the elevator is accessible to any patron with a disability from the upper level to the mid level. However, we request usage only when necessary.

ENTRANCES & EXITS
There are sets of entrance doors located on the east, west, and north sides of Fifth Third Arena. Additional entrance doors are located through the third floor of the Richard E. Lindner Center.

FIRST AID
Emergency medical personnel are on duty at each athletics event. Medical personnel can be contacted during an event by notifying the nearest event staff member, usher, or security guard and informing them of the situation and location of the incident.

FOOD OR BEVERAGES
Outside food or drink is strictly prohibited.

GATES OPEN
Gates are open one and a half hours prior to tip-off.

MERCHANDISE
The UC Bookstore will be selling merchandise in the east and west concourses of Fifth Third Arena.

PARKING
Fifth Third Arena will have parking available to season ticket holders in the Corry, Calhoun, CCM, and University Avenue Garages. Cash parking is available in the Campus Green, Woodside, and Clifton Court Garages.

PROHIBITED ITEMS & SEARCHES
All bags will be searched upon entry into the facility. Except for items pertaining to medical conditions or child care, all bags, backpacks, video cameras, large cases for binoculars or other items, fanny packs and large purses (larger than 10"by 10") are prohibited and banned in Lloyd Noble Center.

Prohibited items must be returned to the owner's car or discarded. Any unlawful items are subject to confiscation, and the person in possession is subject to arrest.

  • Weapons

RADIOS/ RADIO BROADCAST
Single speaker radios are allowed into the arena only if they do not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the game.

RE-ENTRY
There is no re-entry at Fifth Third Arena.

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not allowed inside Fifth Third Arena.

SOLICITATION/HANDOUTS
The distribution of promotional items, handbills, flyers, pamphlets, printed materials, or any other forms of solicitation are not permitted. All inquires must go through the IMG College at the University of Cincinnati. Call (513) 556-4503.

TELEPHONES
There are no public telephones at Fifth Third Arena.

WATER FOUNTAINS
Several water fountains are located throughout Fifth Third Arena.
