The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics is excited to announce `Cheer and Dance Team Day' for the 2013 Bearcats Football season. All youth (ages 4-18) cheerleaders and dancers are encouraged to attend the event on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Nippert Stadium.
Those cheerleading and dance teams looking for a chance to perform with the UC Cheerleaders and Dance Team are encouraged to join the Bearcats at the football game vs. Northwestern State on Saturday, September 14 at 7:00 p.m. For only $35 per person, participants will attend a pre-game youth clinic from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., where the UC Cheerleaders and Dance Team will review the routine that will be performed during halftime of the game. A video will be emailed to participants upon registration for teams to learn the routine prior to attending the clinic. The package also includes an exclusive Cheer and Dance Team Day t-shirt, hair bow, a light snack and a ticket to the game. Additional tickets can be purchased to the game for family, friends and coaches for only $20 each. For an additional $20, participants will have the opportunity to pre-order a DVD of the halftime performance. Participants are encouraged to wear their uniforms for the clinic and performance. Space is limited so make sure to reserve your spot today!
"I speak for both our dance and cheer teams when I say that we are thrilled to be performing with youth cheerleaders and dancers from around the tri-state and beyond. The turnout for the previous three Cheer and Dance Team Days has been fantastic and we expect this one to sell out as well. We can only hope that through this event, we are creating `Future Bearcats' and fans for life," said Kelsey Hamada, UC Dance Team Head Coach.
