Now entering its 14th year, the Cincinnati Soccer Academy and Head Coach Hylton Dayes have announced the dates for their 2014 winter college identification camps.
The one-day sessions, which provide an opportunity for prospective student-athletes to showcase their talents in front of collegiate coaches and the UC men's soccer staff, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25 and Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014. During the camp, participants will receive top-level instruction from the UC men's soccer staff and other local collegiate coaches. Field sessions will include warm-ups from the UC strength staff before footwork and agility training. The camp will also include sessions on speed of play and functional attacking, as well as 3v3, 7v7 and 11v11 matches.
The camps are both beneath the state-of-the-art bubble at the Sheakley Athletic Center on the University of Cincinnati campus. To ensure the quality of instruction at both sessions, enrollment is limited. The cost is $175 and the camps are open to boys ages 14-and-up. The session will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
